ANNA
A film about love and palindromes.
Brian falls in love with Anna instantly one summer day. Things get better and better until Anna starts doing everything backwards. Literally. She walks, eats, and dances backwards. Confused, Brian makes every effort to resolve Anna’s affliction, realizing that soon their relationship will reverse completely.

This is the film "Anna" as it was originally screened in July 2008 at The Roxy in Edmonton Alberta, complete with unmastered sound and a few weird video glitches. This version of the film was uploaded to the internet in tribute to The Roxy theatre, which burnt down in 2015. The 2010 version of the film, which was shortened by 6 minutes and had clean video and audio. This film is a bit rough, as it was made when I was quite young, but I still like the ideas that it explores, so deal with the weird dialogue.
Filmed on two DV tapes on the now-archaic Canon GL2, and was intended to look like a black and white 16mm film.
