Scenic Route to Alaska - Time For Yourself Music Video (concept / director / editor / special effects) - 2020
I have collaborated on a lot of music videos for local artists. Here is one that was a lot of fun to make. On top of directing it, I also did all the special effects and editing.
How To Learn Anything Web Series (writer / producer / assistant editor) - 2017-2022
A very cool project I am proud to have had a big part in is all three seasons of the TV and web series How To Learn Anything. Aside from a lot of editing, I primarily came up with a lot of the episode concepts, and helped with planning the shooting process in how to accomplish all the crazy stuff we came up with
FELT UP (writer / director / editor / camera) - 2012 - 2013 (NOT FOR CHILDREN)
I was fortunate enough to be part of a very small team making an extremely low budget television series called FELT UP. It is a show where people tell true stories (often embarassing) and then they are re-enacted by puppets in a documentary-style way. I co-wrote all the sitcom-style interstitial segments and directed those. I was also on set as a puppeteer, actor, camera assistant, or whatever job needed doing during the stories segments. The show is very much NOT FOR CHILDREN but it was fun to explore a world adjacent to children’s television - that being, the world of puppets.
Folk Lordz (director / editor / motion graphics) - 2017 - 2021
Folk Lordz was a culturally-oriented sketch comedy webseries created in Edmonton by the titular comedy troupe. I directed and edited the entire two season run. This sketch is one of my favorites - also somewhat puppet-based - and it was a lot of fun working with the animators on this during the post-production process.
